Weissia brachycarpa (Nees & Hornsch.) Jur.
Diagnostic description:
A very small moss up to 2cm in height. Green to light-green in colour. The lanceolate leaves are inrolled towards the tips starting halfway up the leaf. The yellowish terminal seta growths to 4mm in height. The seta has a smooth surface. The erect light olive green to green capsule is between 1mm to 1.2mm in length.
Distribution:
Found on the upper rock.
Habitat:
It is found on disturbed calcareous soil.
