G
- Gametophyte
The generation that contain the sexual organs of the plant. It is haploid i.e. it only has one set of chromosomes.
- Gemma
A gemma (plural gemmae) is a single cell, or a mass of cells, or a modified bud of tissue, that detaches from the parent and develops into a new individual. It is a type of asexual reproduction.
- Gemmae cups
Are cup-like structures containing gemmae.
- Geniculate

- Glabrous

- Gland
A small (rounded or oblong) structure on the plant's surface containing oil or some other liquid. When they occur at the tip of a hair, these are called glandular hairs.

Having glands or with an area of secretion producing tissue.

Hairs containing a secretory gland at its tip.
- Glaucous
With a bluish or greyish colouration.
