Anogramma leptophylla (L.) Link
Diagnostic description:
A delicate, tufted annual, with leaves ovate to lanceolate in outline, from 5 to 20 cm tall; bi- or tri-pinnate; pale green. Pinnules between 2 to 8 mm long, wedge-shaped. Stalks brown.
Distribution:
Local:Very common and widespread throughout the Upper Rock.
Global: Found in the Mediterranean region and parts of western Europe.
Ecology:
Spores ripen from (January) February, March, April to May (June).
Habitat:
Found on old damp walls, and along roadsides and footpaths wherever it is damp.
