Bryum dichotomum is usually less than 1cm tall and has a green/yellowish green appearance. The rather concave leaves are approximately 1.6mm in length. However they vary in length to a maximum of 2.5mm. Pendulous, egg-shaped capsules are produced.
Found in the spaces between slabs in patios and between cracks in pavements. Charles V Road.
Found in undisturbed soil, and on compacted soil on and beside paths.
